peace fish series

in 1996 i carved just under a dozen fishie ornaments from oak. i didn’t have any money at the time and thought this would be an inexpensive, yet personal way of saying, “hey you!! thanks for being a good friend and happy holidays to you!  as the years went by, i made more fish for more friends. it’s been almost 2 decades and the number of fish i make each season has grown to well over 600 fish. i still don’t have any money, but i’ve got a lot of friends. here is the entire list of fish so far… enjoy. 🙂
