exhibited at the peacock room

an installation of 41 running german folk pants. made from painted steel. the pieces are actually large discarded metal clips i collected while walking 17 miles of rail road tracks. i’m not exactly sure what they were used for, but they sure look like running lederhosen. sausage, kraut and oompa music gave the show an extra german feel.
the installation was again displayed at the maitland art center as part of the rs21 group show in may of 2009.
